I might not know this woman, and I might have a feeling that she was one of my dad’s old girlfriends, but I like her attitude and I love the setting,  which is somewhere in France - I'm gonna guess Paris.

I found a bunch of old pictures of my parents and their friends from the 70s.

These pictures are my new past time. So, obviously I will be sharing lots of them. As you should all know, I am obsessed with anything from that time and pictures are by far no exception.

Everything just looked more authentic back then. Take this for example.

All it is, is a card for a picture taken in a nightclub in Lebanon in '72. I don't about you, but I'm totally willing to frame it and put it on my wall.
And just for fun, here's the picture inside. I love that they all signed it.

A very good friend of mine (and her boyfriend) has the uncanny ability to find some of the coolest things ever made. Among her collection; this very nostalgic lunch box I came across a whole collection of these lunch boxes at Old Navy today
I checked out the website and, unfortunately, not all the lunch boxes are listed on their website, but I still discovered a panoply of fun stuff! I especially enjoy the Crowded Teeth line.
If you like what you see here, there is a website for Crowded Teeth. The designer is on hiatus, but there's still fun to be had.
But back to the original topic - vintage lunch boxes - here's the one I picked out for myself

I saw it and it instantly brought back a rush of childhood memories. Do you remember this ad?

i'm torn

I don't if I should be appalled at this behaviour or amused at how stupid and close-minded people were back then.

One thing I am sure of is that some of those comments are stupid and close-minded and they don't have the excuse of "we just didn't know better back then" (which, by the way, not a very good excuse).

That Volkswagen one...holy moly!
